Karen Hite, Master Fitness TrainerMaster Fitness Trainer logoHi, I'm Karen Hite, your personal fitness trainer. I'm a certified Master Personal Fitness Trainer. My MPFT certification puts me in the top 1/10th of 1 percent of all personal trainers in the industry! That means that you'll be working with the best in the field.

As an MPFT I am certified to work with people of all ages, from children to seniors. I have worked with people with serious illnesses and diseases. I have students who are transplant patients, have MS, CP, and other chronic disorders. I work with students who have just had knee, shoulder or back surgeries. I am qualified to work with pregnant women, post-partum women, menopausal women, stroke victims, cardiac patients -- the list goes on.

I've developed programs for sport-specific training, event training, weight-loss, diets and meal planning, sports nutrition, bodybuilding, muscle gain, power training, core training, balance, flexibility and cardiovascular training.

I teach Yoga, Pilates, self-defense, and much more.

Now that I've told you all about Karen the trainer, let me tell you something about Karen the person. And why I am so dedicated to good health, beautiful bodies and fitness.

core trainingI have been an athlete all of my life. I was a gymnast throughout school, a martial artist (and instructor) as an adult, an avid cyclist, hiker, skier and golfer. You name it -- if I haven't tried it yet, I just haven't had the time to get to it. But I will.

I've done all of this despite the fact that I have a list of diseases in my back that has made chiropractors and physicians alike cringe and ask me "How do you live with this pain?"

For many years I couldn't. Live with the pain. I hurt day and night. And nobody could help me. So I helped myself.

I became a trainer.

I did it to fix my broken body. And somewhere along the way I fell in love with training.

I love helping others find the pain relief that I found. I can do that because I know your pain. I've had it myself. Anyone who has ever had spinal diseases knows that it doesn't stop in the lower back. Your whole body suffers. I can help you with your pain. Because I have fixed my own.

And, guess what! There's a wonderful side-effect of training to heal your ailing body! Your body looks better, too. Not only does it feel better, but it looks great, too!

I've got to tell you now that I am also an artist. Yes, an artist -- you know, drawing and painting? I admire beauty in all of its forms. The human body is a form of art to me. I sculpt it, mold it and shape it into only things of true beauty. So, trust me with your body. I can turn you into a work of art.

Women, do you want to be strong and shapely without bulking up?

I am an expert at training women. I guess that comes with the territory. Being one myself, I have, of course, studied long and hard about what women want and need from exercise and nutrition. I have been through everything that you are going through with your body. I know exactly what it takes to get you to your perfect body. Because I have already done that with my own.

As a woman, don't you want to train under the expertise and guidance of another woman? Doesn't that make sense?

No matter what your goals are -- pain relief, weight-loss, body shaping, bodybuilding, sport training, flexibility, balance -- whatever you have in mind, I'm your trainer.

What makes me so special (besides the MPFT)?

The average life of a student for a trainer is two months. I have students who have been with me for over 8 years now. Because I care enough to want to make a difference in their lives.
